I had to do something a little bit different for this movie. It’s an hour and a half, which means I sure as fuck ain’t gonna sit through 1.5 hours of shitsubs for each group. Instead, I’ll watch 1/3 of the movie from each group and critique that.

Misunderstanding ftw! Yeah, it’s probably my fault for not going into detail. I’m from Hatsuyuki. We’re subbing this and I went over the script and realized that we neglected to TL those words too.
After looking at these reviews you have made about NS movie 4, I’d love to see your review of Takafansubs’ release. I’ve been watching their releases of Shippuden episodes and haven’t found any better, so it’d be interesting to see if there’s better fansubbers for Naruto out there, based on your review.

I don’t think you’re wrong to have gone with Taka. I’ve watched their releases on other series and they’ve usually had top-notch stuff.
I probably won’t review their Movie 04 though, just because I’ve got other, more pressing reviews to deal with.
