This release is good in some ways, but awkward in others.

File size: 440 MB

Release format: MKV

Japanesiness: No honorifics. Japanese name order.

Karaoke. Because rainbow colors are awesome. Oh, and did you know “Fabulous” is a word? Gotta make sure people know we’re up-to-date on the memes!

Typesetting. I think they got the most important parts, but they’re still missing a significant chunk of signs to be typeset.

Here are just a few of the many annoying comma-related errors in this release.

Who saw this line and thought “Yes. This looks great”?

Hideyoshi has an arbitrary “old” accent in Commie’s release. It doesn’t make sense, it doesn’t add anything, and quite frankly, it makes the subs much worse.

Good advice.

Commie: the inventors of new punctuation.

They use this word three times in this release. Yes, it’s very annoying considering “incorrigible” is such a rare word that throwing it around all willy-nilly draws unnecessary attention to it.

a bit

Why is there a space before the period ?

One of many examples of poor phrasing in this release.

“Whenever I wear that, it’s too tight and my breasts start to burst out of the swimsuit.”

Haha?

Just another example of stupid phrasing.

that to get close to them?

Overall grade: B-

Hideyoshi’s awkward Olde Speake, minimal typesetting, and generally unnatural lines in this release all make me have to recommend FFFpeeps’s Baka to Test release. I would have probably enjoyed Commie’s more if I hadn’t watched FFF’s first, but that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

  1. Why the hell did Commie get the marked as A+ quality on nyaatorrents? That’s bullcrap. Probably the work of the fansub cartel.
