Get with the times, other fansub groups
I’d actually recommend most groups sticking with 8 bit until the next season. Leechers aren’t always up to the newest technology as we are, so you’ll encounter frustration by switching standards halfway through the season. By next season, telling people to go upgrade their codec packs will be a simple enough task, but for now it’s not as stable or easy as it could be.
A Coalgirls release with sensible filesize?
That alone is reason to enforce 10 bit.
