By buggy, I meant “allow something like that to happen.” Admittedly I wasn’t clear in that I didn’t wholeheartedly blame the TSer, but yes, their TSer is at fault here.
We sometime need to use 9001 \pos or \move to make the sign run off the screen.
Yeah, but actually the same effect could be got if there was an .ass tag to change margins for one line only (or a \t tag for margin change). It’d prevent \pos from needing a hard break (\N) when it nears the edge of the screen and stop cock-ups like this happening.

I meant a transform that could change margin too when you’re doing a move. Ah, probably a pipe dream though.
Margins only work if linewidth > ( videowidth – marginR – marginL ). You can bypass margins with the \q2 tag. But in this case, the text is just off-screen due to dumb? positioning.
No margins could have prevented this, since the width of the line doesn’t meet the above-mentioned criteria. It’s obvious this isn’t intentional on-off screen placement, so yeah this is just lazy.

Afaik, the only way that would happen is if the muxing process went wrong. It’s unlikely to be a filter issue.
Nope. Someone forgot to mux the fonts, so it only displays correctly if you just happen to have “Impress BT”, “Humana Sans Md ITC TT”, “Young Techs”, “ichigo69smells”, and “Janda Safe and Sound Solid” installed.
Of course, fonts like “ichigo69smells” are basically system default fonts, only very few people should be affected!

actually, ichigo69smells.ttf is a font that euronymous created for his Koichoco karaoke. I’d be very surprised if anybody had it as a system default font lol.

I was pointing out that it’s highly unlikely anyone has all those fonts installed and hinted at the three persons who reported the TS to be fine being at least affiliated with Samurai, but carry on. :p
