They have improved, but not that much, you’re right. Go through it again, picking the worst option and you’ll probably get similar numbers.
Their Essential 5, “And then, the kick’s that it’s so funny… Huh?” is a fuck-up of an edit. In Essential 1, they went with “You’re pretty cheeky, eh, you bastard!”, which is… uhh, not sure what the fuck they were thinking. Expanded 7, where they had “Just now, the moment the train crashed, I was asked, “If I wanted to die?”.”, is also an issue.
I guess this highlights one of the primary issues with the TL Parties, which is you’re not always gonna get the best results.

Hey, Anime-Koi just released their subs for this ^^ Would you mind adding theirs to compare?
I don’t really add groups to the parties after I post the parties. There are a few main reasons for this:
1. It’s pretty easy to game comparisons if all you do is wait until a post/comparison has been made, and then focus on making your subs for those lines look better than the other groups’. Yes, groups did this when SubCompare and ji-hi were still active, and I’m not keen on letting myself fall to the same tricks.
2. The day-1 readers will likely miss out on any additions to the parties, or simply not be interested in redoing the entire thing, just to factor in another group. And they wouldn’t be able to vote again unless I pseudo-reset the poll plugin.
3. Tied in with the above, any new group will be unfairly disadvantaged in poll scores, simply because a couple hundred people had taken the poll beforehand.
So yeah, if a group is late to the party, they’re not getting in. It’s unfortunate, but that’s how the system’s gotta work.
