In the interest of expanding Crymore’s influence to the lowest class of pseudotaku, I have decided to write an episodic review.
First of all/starting off/we’ll start things off with how a girl is standing on the bridge and then a person talks about suicide and what kind of protagonist he’ll become. Then he decides that he’ll become a cool, active kind of protagonist and rescue the girl from suiciding herself lol. Then he runs up to the building (school building) and convinces her not to die. Then there is a plot twist that she actually doesn’t want to die maybe and can instead jump over things like a kangaroo. Then she stabs him. Then he falls down. Then he wants to be unstabbed. Then he monologues about what just happened. Then he says can you put on these glasses. Then the OP starts.
The OP has lots of colors and things.
Meanwhile, the guy is in a club talking to a girl. Then she says something about murder. Then they talk about more things I don’t get. (Books are for gayers, amirite?) Then he flips through some magazines. Then she reads some stuff. Then he talks. Then she stretches with boobies. Then she talks some more. Then there’s a board with writing on it. Then she reads some more. Then he sighs. The he makes a funny face lol. Then he sighs. Then she gets all somber. Then he leaves. Then he frowns. Then OMG I CAN SEE THE GIRL FROM BEFORE HIDING. Then she sneaks up on him and hides and then LOL THINGS FALL ON HER.
((Have I hit the word minimum yet? 247 words, you say? Sweet, 47 over the requirement.))
Okay, yes. So this is show of the season 10/10. Please discuss this series in the comments below and I’ll pretend that you read this post and didn’t actually just come to have a captive audience listen to your ramblings.
End Scene
((God I hope nobody figures out what a forum is, or this episodic blogging venture is fucked.))
I’m watching it for Lollipop-san

If we don’t get a similar scene to this, I’m boycotting Japan: http://www.crymore.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Denpa_Onna_lollipop_gif.gif
How many licks does it take…
Looks like lollipop girls are the next big thing, we already got this in Railgun S:

Haven’t seen it yet since I’m waiting for UTW subs Q.Q.
Fantastic analysis and meaningful comments.
Dark_Sage really makes you feel like you’re watching the show with him.
Second’d!
I think you’re misunderstanding the meaning behing the colors and things in the OP. It’s only the first episode and I haven’t even watched any of it yet, but I believe it to be a profound and thought-provoking attempt to find meaning in the abyss that is human existence.
Mm, quite. Indubitably, even.
The extrusion of conceptual frameworks that issued forth from the reviewer’s fundament made for highly entertaining reading.
>insert nonsense about hermeneutics here.
I find it nice how you structure your sentences so that the average Kyoani fan can comprehend your blog.
Who Suggestions for Improvement this?
Whoops – had to make sure I was at the right site there; for a moment I thought I was reading a review on myanimelist.com…
Fake link. Disappointed.
You’re the second person to complain about that.
Fine.
Links added.
Pretty good review. Better than the show, and that was a 10/10. I’m gonna copy+paste it into MAL and make it my review for the series based on episode 1.
So what’d you actually think about the pilot?
It met expectations. I had a good time with it and am looking forward to more. Dat KyoAni charm~
I’m seeing random curiosity.
I had the same feeling. It’s funny that this is a better episodic review than many others i dared to look up.
Wow, I really liked your article! Another great post! Keep up the good work!
I always tend to come here for your great in-depth reviews and I really, really love them for the intricate aspects-rich analyses you present and your great work at aptly summarizing the episode, helping me understand some things better in case I didn’t get something. Also, I really love how you add screenshots to your reviews, they give off a much better impression of the show than just text!
I agree with everything you’ve said. I also liked the opening and ending. I do think they could have toned down the red color on her glasses though. :D
