For both the OP and the ED, they matched the hardsubbed kara. Interestingly, they put the romaji on the bottom and the English on the top.
Typesetting
Lots of typesetting in this show.
Although right off the bat, the first sign isn’t typeset.
And nor is this!
At least they typeset the Medaka Box reference. Could have been done a lot better, though.
They try to up the quality for this one, it seems.
But they miss little things here and there.
Here, too. Not to mention that they need to do some alpha on this to get the transparency right.
Would be cool to see some more of the signs done.
The “NEWS” is done by the studio.
By the way, her hat is never typeset.
But this does get done and it’s okay, though the border isn’t the right color.

She says what’s on the sign, so I guess it’s not really necessary… Especially since it’d take up a lot of space.
But when typesetting does take up a lot of space, it’s really noticable and should probably be done.
I know people don’t care about the eyecatches…
But when there’s stuff like this on them, you have to typeset it!
