Final Grade: A-

It’s the episode title that kept this release from receiving a perfect A grade. So in comparing all the releases for this series, Crunchyroll and Lazy Lily were the most accurate, while Kaylith had the most interesting script. However, there aren’t any groups that totally dropped the ball on this series, and the competition was indeed close, so I should commend everyone for their serious effort.

    At least based on the manga, their school is undergoing rapid down sizing. The “sports ball” bit is itself a cutdown of a standard sports festival since the overall school size is already shrinking and funding is at a minimum, that’s why they had to specially request that cheer squad thing in the first place. Since no one new is coming in it’s not unreasonable to assume that it’s either this year or never, the money isn’t going to pick up going forward.

  7. As a little fun fact, in the honorifics track of episode 7, we made sure to follow the lead of others by using Otou-sama and Okaa-sama in a pleasing symmetry with the often-used Onii-chan and Onee-chan. People seem to prefer it that way, so it really was a matter of course.
