One fundamental problem with this show is that all their issues could be solved without wishes. Chick wants to fuck her brother? Just go for it. Ronery girl wants friends? Visit Crymore and you qualify to be mine, megane-chan! We need some Geass-level ambition in this shit.

Also, they could just like… buy the best decks. It’s not like this is YGO where gods beat money.

Have her respond with a “Right.” or something similar. “Yeah” is not an adequate response to that question.

Really, Asenshi? Do any of you have friends? Common parlance is “C’mon, let’s race!”

You’d wanna use “glance” over “look” here. Reason being, “glance” is a quicker action, and the point of this line is to show how the cardgirls can immediately recognize Selectors.

Does the mark have a restraining order on you or something? Cuz you aren’t within even 200 yards of it.

“She was in that one drama, and she’s about to release a new single too.” {Drama could be replaced with “show” if you don’t wanna pander.}

I understand fansubbers don’t rest at the top of relevance tower, but holy fuck you guys what the hell?

While calling someone a “‘zine model” might have flown 3-4 decades ago, there’s no fucking way it holds up today. And giving this dialogue to a high school girl, who you’re trying to make hip with your “Like, seriously?” line, just calls more attention to your poor choice of words.

Here’s a hint for how normal humans speak, guys: a “magazine model” is just a “model”. Call her “famous model” in this line and you’ll get the right sentiment across.

I know Japanese names are difficult to remember, but these lines are back to back.

Up your kawaii levels: it should be stampy-stamp. Similarly, for the “starty-starty” line, you’d want “starty-start”.

Have you guys ever played a TCG before? Unless you’re actually ready to end your turn, don’t use words like “finally”.

There’s no emphasis, interruption, or change of thought here. So why the fuck did you use an em-dash?
