Since this is a Crunchy edit, this will be graded on a pass/fail basis. If the release contains any additional errors, even one, it will receive a Fail. If it doesn’t contain any added errors, it passes. If it improves the script, it passes with flying colors.
Karaoke.
OP. While pretty much every other group had something about “shooting a world” for this lyric, Hatsuyuki had… this.
ED. It was fine, though I’d probably prefer something along the lines of “I can’t show anybody” for this lyric.
Main Script.
I wonder if this “Aniki” guy isn’t actually a gang leader.
The kanji used here was 撃ち倒し which unlike 打ち倒し (“defeat, beat”) means “to shoot and bring down.” I would think that the fact she’s able to think about shooting someone (in a game) represents some kind of progress.
How do you take a correspondence course at a learning center? She’s saying he’s taking something similar to GED courses at the cram school.
“…before I was two.”
Way to translate the hospital’s name (“Central Metropolitan Hospital”).
…okay, okay, this one was actually done by the studio.
She’s talking to her grandfather, whose home she will return to in the winter since she has left that home in order to go to school in Tokyo.
This was said in the past tense.
Other Observations
The timing, it needs fixing.
There are at least three things wrong with this line. Try to find them all in five seconds.
Final Grade: Fail
This release contained lines that were taken from the original crunchyscript and were inexplicably made worse by Hatsuyuki. That is all.

Can’t be helped, than.
Helped it can’t be, thin.
Can’t it be thin, helped.
Has Hatsukuki ever made a script better?
Not in a while.
Not since this happened, am I right?

A lot of the good staff left in that split, so yeah, it had a pretty sizable effect.
I just feel like Hatsuyuki is recruiting a lot of newbies and not really training them much, so the quality and speed at which they’re releasing is constantly dropping. It’s a shame, they used to be reasonably relevant.
I didn’t know Queenie did work for you at Hatsuyuki. o.o GX_ST be ded. Domain points to my projects page now. :/
I miss Queen. :(
She’s just always on FB these days and riding horses.
I’d wager queenie’s let a few horses ride her too.
Stay classy, D_S
While the release definitely would be a fail, I can’t help but feel like this review is a little misleading; of the main script screenshots you posted, only the “high school correspondence course” and “If it’s a request” lines were mistakes not already present in Crunchy’s script.
They also changed “Grandpa” in the original Crunchy script to “Uncle,” which is wrong, and they had Shino’s parents die in the accident when she was two, instead of before she was two, which was also in the original Crunchy script. So the failing grade stands.
Those are both from Crunchy. http://imgur.com/TAip1DX,YyLQudo
Crunchyroll have the ability to make changes on the fly, even after release. There’s a chance they noticed it themselves and changed it.
The only way to know is to check Horriblesubs.
It’s the same in HorribleSubs. That’s how I noticed it; I only checked CR’s own website just now to confirm.
Oh, okay. My bad then.
