Well, well. This release was actually quite good too.
Release format: MKV (247 MB, 10-bit), MKV (306 MB, 8-bit ), LQ MKV (170 MB, 8-bit)
Japanesiness: Honorifics. “Thanks for the meal” instead of “Gochisosama”.
Karaoke.
Opening. I’m not sure this screenshot does it justice. It fits pretty damn well. Better than EveTaku’s OP.
Ending. The color of the text before the k-timing pops in is a bit too bright.
Typesetting.
Script.
“Maybe it would be easier if I met them instead.”
Hokkaido Fair. They actually got it right earlier.
Fair’s fair. Like I did for EveTaku, here are some good lines that I saw in this release.
(In this scene, he’s about to get anally penetrated.)
(In this scene, he has a boner.)
Watchability: Quite watchable.
Overall grade: A-
I gave both EveTaku and Shikkaku an A-, but I felt that Shikkaku’s release edged Eve’s out. Both scripts were great, but the typesetting (it didn’t overlap the Japanese text, but in EveTaku’s it did) and OP karaoke were slightly better on Shikkaku’s end. You can’t go wrong with either group, though.
I don’t deny their typesetting is better, but they translated 庶民経済研究部 as Public Surveillance Club?
Either I’m missing an obscure secondary definition of 経済 or they made that up. O__O
This review isn’t about translation, that’s why evetaku got a better grade on 8th’s review.
I know, just something I noticed.
What would you have translated it as lygerzero0zero?
We used “Civilian Economics Research Club”.
gg review??? wwwww
nvm didn’t see you already reviewed that
“Famicon”?
Try “Famicom”, guys.
just looked it up on wiki. it’s Famicon but written as Famikon. so it’s not that wrong.
