Oh yeah. I have a review site. Okay, have a (lazy) Zetman review. Update: They dropped the show. Never mind.

Table of Contents
Visual Quality
Karaoke.
Ending (well, opening, but it shows as the ending). No opening (err, ending) this episode. The colors change and shit. I wasn’t left with much of an impression either way, which is… good, I suppose.
Typesetting.
Overall, there is typesetting. The show doesn’t really rely on it in any manner, though, so there’s not much emphasis to put on it here.
Other.
The text mixes in with the credits for a good minute or so. Not good.
Script Quality
Karaoke.
The grammar (within the standards they set for the song) checks out nicely. It made sense and I didn’t have trouble understanding what they were going for.
Main Script.
“Every night, members of high society gathered”
Mm, I’m trying to think of how exactly I should explain this is wrong without busting out Google and showing how “members of high society” gets about a thousand more results than “members from high society”. Oh well, I give up. Take that explanation as good enough.
I went over the best practice for this in my ellipses post.
“…Until that night.”
or
“…until that night.”
These both indicate it’s an extension of the previous sentence. I prefer the latter because I view them as linked together VERY closely. Some would prefer the line to be capitalized, but whichever you like the most, I think it’s generally recognized that an ellipsis should be used here.
If you want to convey a pause in speech where a comma doesn’t make grammatical sense, don’t put a comma there anyway. Either split the line up over two different parts or use an ellipsis.
Unfortunately, unlike my rori review, I don’t have much to say about lines that I thought were excellent. Zetman doesn’t give much room for that because it’s mostly grunting and yelling — I didn’t see anything that jumped out at me as noteworthy. I’ll make sure to make up for the lack of positive examples here in my next A-tier review.
Timing Review
Incoming. When “Timing Critique” is added as a category, you’ll know this part is done.
Results.
Watchability: Definitely watchable.
Timing Grade:
Visual grade: B
Script grade: A-
Overall grade (timing results not factored in): A-
Zetman unfortunately does not lend itself well to fansub reviews because it’s relatively barren of things I can really get into talking about. However, that’s not to say SFW didn’t do a good job. They did a bang-up job with the show (it just means I wasn’t able to explain very well why I liked their release). I’ll see how WhyNot stacks up and let you know which group did a better job in my next review.
‘jumped out as notworthy’
‘but whichever you prefe’
I hate using this computer. http://i.imgur.com/YYIE0.jpg
Good lord, how do you even use that thing? Do you think you can glue Scrabble tiles to the buttons or something?
I keep telling myself I’ll fix it up during the weekend. But then the weekend rolls around and I always end up doing other stuff. :X
Can’t you just pick up a USB keyboard for 10-20 bucks and use that?
I have two. They’re actually worse than typing on the laptop’s keyboard, though.
Ah, I should note that I do have a sweet main rig at my house, but because I’m often traveling for business, my laptop is what I use during weekdays.
It’s gosu to remove all unnecessary keys. It increases your APM.
D_S is a noob though. He forgot to take out the Windows button.
Love when I see other fansubbers that are Starcraft fags too. Fuck yeah, Boxer figting.
Dear lord… I thought my old keyboard with the ‘i’ and ‘enter’ were bad.
How did you even break that in the first place?
My “s” key wasn’t working right, so I decided to take off the keys and clean underneath them. Taking them off was the easy part. Getting them back on? Not so much.
I’m so sorry D:
I think doki is the best one for this.
“I’ll see how WhyNot stacks up and let you know which group did a better job in my next review.”
If I may ask, what about Hatsuyuki-Tsuki and Doki? Aren’t you going to review those two as well?
Whoops didn’t want to reply to SuperNub here.
Oh yeah, forgot about them. Those too.

You keep telling yourself that.
