Okay, it’s pretty enjoyable. Assuming you aren’t expecting to actually laugh (I can count the number of times anime has made me laugh on just my fapping hand), it’ll be a decent comedy series.
Think of it as Maoyuu Maou Yuusha crossed with Ben-to. And then don’t think of it like that because that’s a terrible comparison.

Well, I liked the game, even if it wasn’t all that great of a sequel to Devil Survivor. Unfortunately, the quality of the anime depends on what route they take, and it’ll probably be Daichi’s, so I’m not expecting much.
Should’ve animated DS1, since they’re likely playing it safe (and completely ignoring what made the games popular in the first place).
Yeah, Yuzu’s ending sucked, but at least she was easy on the eyes.

This is a story about a mentally challenged boy who’s gay for some poet named Baudelaire.
Like most people who enjoy poetry, he’s a super creeper. And as such, he spends his days sniffing women’s clothes.
Fortunately for him, instead of a life of creepdom, some other braindicapped kid falls in love with him and blackmails him into cleaning her carpet every night after he sexually assaults another girl.
And that’s the story. Sweet as candy.
If I had to describe it with a bad comparison, I’d say it’s a mix between Sakamichi no Apollon, Mysterious Girlfriend X, and Mirai Nikki. But, like, not the good parts of those (not that Sakamachi had any).
Otona Joshi no Anime Time
If you thought that AMV (based on the movie) was super tears-worthy and dramatic, then you’re one of the people who would like this show.
If not, it’s just another boring josei, so don’t feel like you’ll be missing out if you skip it.

Goddamn, this was a terrible manga. I lasted one chapter and had to give up. I had no clue what they were going for, nor do I have any interest in continuing the story. The characters suck, the plot sucks, the art sucks, and the everything sucks.
You know how Cuticle Detective Inaba was bad? This is ten times worse. Fuck this series.

I tried watching the first two episodes of the English dub for this anime with a friend, but I couldn’t get why people like it. And I doubt the Japanese version will change my mind.

Original Anime Ending [Without explaining everything and filled with plot holes.]
Open Ended Ending [Brilliant, a full animated recap of previous chapters with brand new eye candies. Time to continue with the manga.]

As much as I’m hyped for Aku no Hana, that’s only because I’m a sucker for SODEEP. It may very well not become the greatest anime of the season which is bad because the only other shows I’m going to be watching are Shingeki no Kyoujin (gotta follow the Hypetrain of Eternal Relevance) and Railgun S (guilty pleasure).
Well, I don’t know if I’d call it deep. It’s like a very poorly done Fap Note.
It certainly raises some interesting points of discussion. This says nothing about the actual quality of the story, however, so I’m prepared to be disappointed either way.

First two episodes of Gargantia were great.
Well, Yamato has already a dozen of episodes released as OVA, so you could judge watching at least one of them. In any case, “Ozma sucked, so Yamato 2199 will suck” is like saying “Inuyasha is awful, so Urusei Yatsura and Ranma can’t be good”.
D_S also fails to notice that Ozma was something Leiji Matsumoto scribbled down in a margin somewhere while watching Dune thirty years ago, while Yamato is the space opera that made him famous.
But I suppose such details are worthless in the face of such *superior* taste.
I don’t really care if D_S likes or not Matsumoto or old animes in general, the fact is it’s kinda incosistent judging it with a mere comparison with Ozma since every other anime on the list has an opinion based upon the manga or the PVs. Then, if we consider it’s a series already halfway, with 13-15 episodes released since last year, well, perhaps it should need something more exhaustive than “x is bad, y has the same author, so it should be bad too”
I don’t particularly care about making an argument to oldfags on that show — nostalgia has addled your brains to the point where any discussion is wasted.

Anyway, seems like the modern production values include tight bodysuits and tits. Might be a D_S thing, though probably not. I don’t really know about it.
I wrote that Ozma was bad, and I didn’t even say my rating about Yamato 2199, so the Oldfag-argument is quite preposterous. I just said that there’s a dozen of episodes already available for a more accurate evaluation of the series (in fact, you could even don’t mention it in the post, since it’s technically not a spring 2013 series), instead of just saying “Ozma is bad, so Yamato 2199 should be bad, Oldfags you mad? trololo”. If you judge Hentai ouji based upon the manga, I think it’s kinda reasonable judging Yamato based upon at least one of the *fourteen* episodes already available, not upon a “sensation”.
So are you saying D_S needs to watch the entire show before making a prediction if the show is good or not? Or at what point can you make ‘Numero_6’ approved predictions if something is good or not?
Let’s not kid ourselves here either, if D_S would have said it was terrible after watching episode 1, you’d have replied: “You can’t judge it till you’ve seen eps 4!”

The problem is not “D_S doesn’t like Yamato”, the problem is “D_S did predictions of quite every spring anime basing upon manga reading or PVs, except for one who already has episodes released”. If he watched at least one episode (I don’t think he read every single chapter of every single manga mentioned), or even the first minutes then dropped it saying “Ugh, bad”, well, probably I would have written just the classic “D_S has shit tastes :P”.

Yamato came out nearly two decades before I was born. The original isn’t super good, and the Fukkatsu-hen movie from 2009 also sucked dick in a lot of ways, but I’m loving this remake.

Arata: The Legend is technically classified as shounen since the manga was published in Shounen Sunday. I haven’t read the manga, but I’m looking forward to this one as Yuu Watase is one of my favorite mangaka.
