I do believe every anime fan is required to like Mindless Self Indulgence, so for those of you who missed it last month (like me), you have now been informed MSI released a new album.
And it’s fucking awesome.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who expected the song(s) in the video to be some (possibly cutesy) J-Pop song(s) given the images in this post. o___o

But somehow that wasn’t really my expectation, given that it wouldn’t fit D_S’s PR instinct and that the band name really doesn’t sound Engrishy enough.

Not a fan. I’d probably like this band more if I was still a teenager but no dice. Did look them up on wikipedia though and quite the… distinguished… list of bands that they’ve opened for. It reads like a who’s who of bands who’s existence I’d like to erase from my memory. I actually didn’t think before reading it that it was possible for one band to open up for so many musicians who are utterly shit. It’s really kind of impressive in a way, it’s almost as if MSI asked themselves “who will make us look absoultely awesome” and went with that.
