Day one AMV: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann – I like that.
I never liked AMVs much. Mostly combining shitty rap and pop music with highly popular, and to some degree watchable, anime left quite the aftertaste in my mouth.
But there are exceptions for me like this one:

That looks like it was just a combination of random, pretty scenes from random anime to upbeat music. Interesting to a degree, but I’d be more impressed if something fit.

That fluid animation, those crazy movements and that music. Those scenes were always so quick in the Monogatari series it was sometimes hard to see the details. Pretty good stuff, √Bestamvsofalltime has many great AMVs.

Don’t spoil me! I’ve never watched Gurren Langann and am now patiently waiting for the BD re-release, cause I have a pretty low tolerance for shitty pixelated square-screen anime.

Sometime this month. Not sure when, since I haven’t really scoped any of this shit out yet.
