In celebration of getting my Animebyt.es account reactivated, I downloaded a bunch of 100mb or less OVAs/ONAs/specials to pad my MAL with and get some easy seeding in. Thought I’d share the wealth with some reviews!

In other news, my oral defense of my thesis went well, so I will be officially getting my Master’s degree by the end of next week! It’s been a long road, but I’m glad to be done. :D

I liked this typesetting, but I don’t like the default font.

There are like 5 lines of dialogue in the entire thing, and this is one of them! There are so many things wrong with this line.

It’s missing two commas, or alternatively, one comma and one question mark.

It’s missing a hyphen.

Onii-chan needs to be capitalized.

You don’t need the TL note.

The only thing in this entire review worth watching!

Switch around “planting” and “rice” and you’re good.

First: Great typesetting.

Second: It’s not their fault, but that exclamation point is bugging me.

Especially compared to the rest of the stuff I’ve seen today, this is really nicely done.

They mocha’d the rest of the signs in this. I suppose this would include some frame-by-frame clipping, so I guess it’s okay.

While I wonder why they put the punctuation in, I’m not too displeased.

This text floats around, so nicely done.

You have two choices:

1. Capitalize the ‘s’ on Sister’s.
2. Put a “my” between leave and sister’s.

I’d recommend 2, but meh.

Not every 5 minute anime includes little girls, mecha, ninjas, mikos, and hot springs!

 

tl;dr: Most short anime is shit.
