More About Me (Dark_Sage)

I’ve been fansubbing since 2008, and fansub reviewing since 2010, and as of the time of writing this post, it’s 2018. So I’m pretty much a fansubbing grandmaster. With over 900 in-depth fansub script analyses under my belt, I’m fairly confident in saying I know more about the craft of making quality English fansub scripts than anyone else.

I’ve done work for and with a lot of the groups you know about, and many of the ones you don’t. The groups themselves don’t matter, but what I will tell you is I have no skin in the fansubbing game for the reviews I write. This ensures the only thing you’re getting are my pure and honest thoughts.

I’ve lost “friends” over these posts, and I’m willing to lose them all to get you the truth. Don’t say I don’t love you.

The Reviews

Fansub Reviews are, as the name implies, reviews of anime fansub releases. This site has found a niche by reviewing these releases in an attempt to offer you accurate information as to the quality you may expect in a given fansub release.

Even if you don’t give a shit about fansubs or anime, there’s value in the English and translation tips. Worst case, you may just be entertained.

Aniblog – From Aniblog 2012 to Aniblog 2014, the only good aniblog is Crymore.
