“At a time like this.” I know Crunchy’s translators are all ex-fansubbers, but this is ridiculous.

In the novel, Kyousuke didn’t actually “make a point” of stopping the game at the confession scene. Hell, it was Kirino who said that it was the perfect place to stop so that they could go for their night out on the town.

Yes, “bitter smile” is one translation for kushou, but it implies that he is pissed off when he’s clearly not. Use “wry smile.”

When she says dou ni ka suru that means “land on your feet” as in Kyousuke and Kirino won’t suffer the consequences of their new incestuous relationship.

I like how they sprinkled Saori’s dialogue with Ye Olde English in order to represent her weird speech patterns.

As opposed to, say, “Start the music!” because whatever is being said in Engrish MUST end up in the subtitles -_-#

“Onee-san” here means “older girl,” not “sister.”

 

 

Other Observations

The script reads like lazy writing or worse.

Why did she have to whisper in his ear when they’re alone in a room?

Did they deliberately make him scream and take up that idiodic pose, not once but several times, in order to turn us against him even more?

 

Final Grade: B

Crunchyroll was accurate enough, but their script was so phoned in that I wanted to hang myself with the cord.
