There were people who thought otherwise?
Manga fans tended to hate the anime adaption. A lot of the complaints were about how Ranko’s character was “ruined” in the anime. Many people also said that the show lost its spark in the second half.
The anime adaptation wasn’t all that great.
Sankarea looked very interesting at first and then turned out as boring as most slice of life shows…
Whoever structured the plot in terms of episode content was shit. They wouldn’t be able to keep audience interest from one week to the next if not for zombie tits.
The first few episodes were promising, but it got worse every episode. By the end, the only thing left were “zombie tits”, just as Akatsukin said.
Sankarea is a pile of shit, and you should feel bad if you think otherwise.
It’s pretty easy to pick out the best releases for most of the shows this season so I just went with some of my favorites (Hajime no Ippo, Samurai Flamenco, Non Non Biyori, and Galilei Donna).
Dark_Sage called it right when he said that Coppelion was going to be bad in his Fall preview. I regret choosing that show in the last poll.
(btw, I heard that Coppelion episode 2 covered 7 chapters worth of material. Goes to show that shitty shows will always be shitty regardless of how fast the pacing is sped up.)
Shigofumi was boring and you know it. It was just a shitty Jigoku Shoujo ripoff.
Except Shigofumi was the superior show. Both shows sucked but nothing is as terrible as Jigoku Shoujo was.

Coppelion: so beautiful, yet so terrible. I don’t think I’ve been this disappointed since I tried to watch Shangri-La, and that dramatized carbon trading.
