Winter has come.
Release format: MKV (226 MB, 10-bit)
Japanesiness: Japanese name order. No honorifics.
Note: A “Preair” is what it sounds like — a version of the show that is pre-release. Generally, this means the video/audio quality is going to be shit. So just know what you’re in for.

Karaoke.
Opening. Though I normally despise rainbow shit, the entire OP is rainbow-colored, so I can’t blame Commie for following suit.
Ending. “never forget that lying my chest” Exceptional work from the song translators at Commie.
Typesetting.
lol @ all. Only the business card one was decent.
Script.
Yup. Raising the script over the scrolling text would be wayyy too hard.
Nice comma splice. Looks like Commie’s editor doesn’t know what a semicolon is.
You’re got many problems with the English language, don’t you?
Please learn to question mark.
Commie, if you picked up your editors straight out of elementary school, they might be able to get this right. Maybe you should change your hiring practices accordingly.
Auntie should be capitalized. Learn to /proper_noun
It. it. it.
Jesus fucking christ, it’s like none of you kids have read a book in your lives! Spare me the dull, shitty writing.
“It’s coming straight at us! Could that be a ram attack?!”
Wow, holy shit! I managed to convey the exact same thing without relying on the word “it”. Kami-sama be praised!
Watchability: Regardless of how good the subs are (and they aren’t, really), the video quality is so shit it’s unwatchable. It’s inherent in the nature of a pre-air, so it’s not Commie’s fault, but it should be noted.
Overall grade: ?
This is a 200-line script. Why are there even any errors?
I’ll give Commie a legit rating when they release an actual episode rather than a pre-air. Maybe they’ll put some effort into it so I don’t have to look at all these stupid mistakes. This post was just to sate all you Winter 2012 diehards.
Hey you listened to me (hehe)
>226mb re-encode of a webrip
Amazing QUALITY is packed into each megabyte. I drained an entire bottle of bleach into my eyes and it still wasn’t enough.
Was a little upset at how massive the file was for the quality. I’m just in shock at how much they bloated the file/
I managed to make a one minute 480p avi into 250mb. Looks like I should apply for #commie encoder.
Can you beat this?

Many of the artifacts were inherent in the stream and couldn’t be fixed.
Actually, I doubt the source video was re-encoded at all for these webrips, beyond clipping off unneeded bits at the beginning and end (“broadcast will begin shortly” message and so on). When I ripped Kyouso Giga from Nico I got about the same filesize for the untouched stream.
Yes, your Kyouso releases were about the same. I made sure to check neither group screwed up more than the other.
Beyond my snarky comment here, playing along with kyonyUU, I don’t think I blamed either of your groups for the troubles. Obviously, it’s just a problem with the source video and one can’t blame your encoders for it.
Two thing I don’t find watchable (In no particular order) *All female main cast *Reverse harem.
The rip I downloaded from a streaming site was 66MB and the difference was negligible lol
RHE decided to re-encoded it to get rid of the black bars and while doing this made the release 4x bigger. :iiam:
